The design brief

Problem Statement

Outdated Design: The website lacked a modern aesthetic, failing to align with the sophisticated, high-quality reputation Demax Group had established in the real estate market. It did not reflect the professional nature of their work or their role as a market leader in the industry.

Difficult Navigation: Users struggled to navigate through the site and find information about the company's projects, services, and the development process. The structure was cluttered, and there were no clear calls to action for potential clients.

Poor Mobile Experience: A large portion of Demax Group’s target audience accessed the site via mobile devices. The mobile version of the site was not optimized, resulting in a poor user experience and missed opportunities for conversions.

User Research

Customer Surveys: Surveys were distributed to potential and past clients to gather insights on what information they expected from the website, the most common barriers they faced during the buying process, and the kinds of digital tools they found most helpful.

Competitor Analysis: A review of other real estate development websites, both in Georgia and internationally, helped identify industry trends, essential features, and opportunities for differentiation.

User Testing: A series of user tests were conducted with both prospective buyers and industry professionals. They were asked to complete tasks such as browsing projects, finding company information, and making inquiries. Pain points were documented to inform the design process.

Design Process

Wireframing & Prototyping

User Flow Mapping: Based on research insights, wireframes were created to map out the user journey. These wireframes focused on simplifying the navigation and providing clear paths to key content, such as project galleries, company history, and contact options.

Mobile-First Design: Given the significant mobile traffic, a mobile-first design approach was adopted to ensure the site provided a smooth, responsive experience on smaller screens.

UI Design

Modern Aesthetic: The visual design used a minimalist, clean style that showcased Demax Group’s high-end developments. Large, high-quality images of the residential complexes were featured prominently, alongside concise, informative text.

Branding: The color palette was kept simple with a mix of neutral tones and accent colors, reflecting both professionalism and warmth. Typography was selected to evoke modernity and elegance.

Interactive Elements: Interactive features, such as hover effects on project images and clickable floor plans, were incorporated to enhance user engagement.
